CHANTILLY, VA, UNITED STATES, February 15, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Professional Remodeling Organization (PRO) Metro DC named MOSS Building & Design, in Chantilly, VA, as a PRO Remodeler of the Year winner in multiple categories at its annual awards competition at their PRO Remodeler of the Year Awards Gala on Saturday, February 11, 2023, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Tysons Corner, Virginia. MOSS was awarded the Grand Prize for Entire House Under $500,000, Grand Prize for Residential Kitchen Over $75,000, Grand Prize for Creative Solutions, Finalist Award for Basement Over $150,000, and, for the sixth year in a row, the Community Service Award.

MOSS Building & Design launched its inaugural Back To Sports campaign on Monday, August 22nd, collecting new and gently used youth sports equipment and gear to donate to Leveling The Playing Field, a local, nonprofit organization that helps provide free sports equipment for those in the DMV community who might otherwise not have the means to participate on a youth sports team. The campaign is set to run through Friday, September 30th.

MOSS Building & Design is pleased to announce that it has won its third consecutive Chrysalis Award for Remodeling Excellence. Continuing to set new standards of professionalism, 79 companies from across the United States were named winners at the 2022 awards. The entries were judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.MOSS Building & Design won this year’s award in the category of Residential Historic/Restoration under $250,000 with the interior remodel of the kitchen and primary bathroom in a historic home built in the town of Herndon, Virginia, in 1910.

MOSS Building & Design, Northern Virginia’s premier remodeling company for over 20 years, recently partnered with Lowe’s Chantilly to provide the materials and labor needed to repair and update Fairfax County’s Chantilly High School’s concessions stand. Over the course of a week, MOSS professionals were able to build and replace the stand’s interior doors, countertops, and shelving as well as replace siding on all four sides, therefore allowing for future better security, more storage, and increased functionality for those who utilize the space.

MOSS was awarded the Grand Prize for Residential Historical Renovation - Restoration Under $250,000, Grand Prize for Basement Over $250,000, Finalist Award for Residential Kitchen Over $150,000, and, for the fifth year in a row, the Community Service Award.
